The company was formed in the year 2000 by John Ramsden and Michael MacRae, who have spent all of their working lives within the die making industry (over 50 years combined). In this time, they have been involved in various trades including corrugated and solid board packaging, greeting cards, foam and rubber converters, textiles and leather products, but predominantly it has been spent within the automotive soft trim, acoustic and airbag cutting industries.

We work at all levels from the design and manufacture of dies to advising our customers with press problems, material handling and yield, along with using best working practice for tool life and safety. It is possible to create designs working from components, sketches, or your concepts through to the use of most CAD formats.

We have at our disposal waterjet, and laser cutting capability along with an excellent engineering facility. We utilize the latest manufacturing techniques to provide innovative solutions and improvements for our customers cutting and handling procedures. Our experience of working within such a demanding industry has given us an expertise in these areas, enabling us to take our customers to the forefront of cutting technology.
